Gah, my first stamp.. I didn't find the one I was looking for when surfing stamps, so here it is.

Rant warning
What the hell is with all the people who yell about not being noticed on dA? So yeah, you got 10 pageviews. Yes, deviantArt is about art and critique and blah blah blah, BUT- no one is here to cater to you. And most of those people NEVER go through the newest submitted and comment/fav on stuff. I'm not going to be automatically attracted and pulled like a magnet to your gallery and then just comment on everything because every single thing you upload took seven weeks.

No, I'm not being mean, it's just don't expect people to comment or fav anything of yours when you don't put yourself out there.

There are too many people on dA and too many newest submitted pictures to just randomly expect you'll be 'noticed' by 'a bunch of people'.

I think that rant is very important indeed. Ironically, I found this searching through recently submitted haha. It is annoying how selfish some people are. The way I look at it is, don't expect anyone to ever see your work amongst the millions of professional pieces posted hourly.

That way, when someone does fave a piece of yours, or makes a comment, it feels so much nicer!

So yeah, good point!

Haha, I couldn't agree more. I find the people who get most frustrated are the ones who don't try. They just look like they've thrown up on paint. The people who get the attention are the ones who spend hours on a piece, post it up last thing at night and forget about it!
