My God, Ava, do you have any idea how amazing this is?! Seriously, when I saw this in my 'New Deviations' thing, I didn't even know it was yours until I looked at your name! This came out so wonderful!!! Maybe next time with the skin try to gradually fade in the white a bit more so its not as abrupt. |

Critiques
What immediately draws the audience in are the eyes. They embody the character boldly, and appear sharp alongside the skin, which appears to be glowing. You took advantage of your light source exceptionally well; I love the shadows that seem to just dance across her face. However, the hair should respectively been slightly brighter if her face could catch that much light.
I'm impressed that you've adapted to painting this well. The shading is exquisite, and molds her face anatomy very accurately. There are only a couple areas where you might have wanted to use your smudge tool again, but it's not an absolute necessity.
Overall, you've taken a very good advance to digital painting, which significantly exceeds the expectations of any beginner. Keep it up! c:
